Ending Pink October with Purpose: How Cerveau Initiative Brought Health, Hope, and Awareness to the Community

November 3, 2025

To mark the close of our Pink October Together campaign 2025, Cerveau Initiative successfully organized a free health screening for over 200 women, in partnership with the amazing Dr. Alex and his team from STANDOUT CARE.

The event, held on October 31, 2025, brought together people from diverse backgrounds who came eager to learn, get screened, and take charge of their health. It was a warm, impactful, and heartfelt way to conclude a month dedicated to awareness, compassion, and support for women and families affected by breast cancer.

Throughout October, Cerveau Initiative led a series of awareness programs — including community outreach activities, educational sessions, awareness walks, and donations to the Breast Unit at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. Each activity was designed to spread the message of early detection and encourage consistent health checks.

Ending the campaign with a free health screening was intentional. At Cerveau Initiative, we believe that access and action are just as vital as awareness. During the screening, participants received breast examinations, health counselling, blood pressure checks, and general wellness assessments — practical steps toward informed and empowered health decisions.

This event was made possible through the collaboration and generosity of our partners who share our vision of community health and empowerment.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to:

Rising Arts Studio, for inspiring creativity and artistic expression,

The Confetti Bakery, for their delicious cakes that added warmth to the atmosphere,

Special Ice, for keeping us refreshed with water throughout the event.

Coca-Cola, for providing refreshments that kept everyone energized throughout the day,

Cerveau Properties, for their unwavering support,

SOH Energy, for ensuring the event ran smoothly,

and Diaserve, for standing with us every step of the way. And engage their media partner to join us on this day.

Their contributions played a crucial role in helping us serve and support so many within our community.

We also acknowledge the wonderful bloggers and media professionals who captured and amplified the day’s message beyond the venue.
To our lively MC Diana Kumbley, who kept spirits high and the crowd engaged — thank you.

And most importantly, to our selfless volunteers: your dedication, kindness, and teamwork made everything possible. You are the heart of Cerveau Initiative, embodying the true spirit of community and compassion.

The incredible turnout and engagement at the screening reaffirmed why we do this work. Every person who came to learn about their health, every mother who left more informed, every conversation that sparked understanding — these are the victories that keep us going.

Though Pink October Together has ended, our mission continues every day. Cerveau Initiative remains committed to education, support, and community-centred impact — raising awareness, fostering hope, and building healthier communities for all.

To everyone who attended, partnered, shared, volunteered, supported, or believed in our cause — thank you. You are part of every life touched and every story changed.

Together, we will continue to turn awareness into action and compassion into change.
