Cerveau Initiative recently carried out an outreach visit to two basic schools in Kordiabe School and Doryumu School, as part of our ongoing efforts to promote access to quality education for underserved children. During our initial visits, our team carefully assessed the learning environments and engaged teachers and school administrators to better understand the challenges they face. These assessments revealed a significant shortage of basic learning materials, which was affecting both teaching and learning in the schools.

In response to this need, Cerveau Initiative launched an online Back-to-School fundraising campaign aimed at mobilizing support from individuals and partners who share our vision for educational equity. Through the generosity of our donors, we successfully raised funds to procure essential learning materials tailored to the specific needs of each school. 

At Kodiabe School, we donated mathematical sets, exercise books, pens, and pencils that are vital for classroom instruction and student practice, particularly in mathematics. Teachers at the school emphasized the importance of these items in helping students better understand lessons and participate more actively in class.
At Doryumu, our support focused on improving the teaching environment by donating six white classroom boards, which will greatly enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. In addition, we provided books, pens, and pencils to support daily learning activities. This initiative highlights Cerveau Initiative’s commitment to addressing practical educational needs in deprived communities and ensuring that children have the tools they need to learn and succeed.
