As part of our commitment to understanding their progress and needs, we returned this year to interact with the authorities and children and assess any improvements made. While the school continues to demonstrate resilience and dedication to educating its students, it became evident that many of the challenges persist, and new ones have emerged.
One of the most critical issues remains the unsanitary condition of the washroom block. The current facility is not suitable for safe and hygienic use. This situation poses serious health risks to both students and teachers, exposing them to potential infections and sanitation-related illnesses. In many cases, the condition of the washroom forces students and staff to return home during school hours to use proper toilet facilities. This practice leads to absenteeism, disruption of lessons, and loss of valuable instructional time.
Beyond sanitation, the school also faces significant shortages in essential educational resources. The lack of textbooks makes it difficult for students to follow lessons effectively and limits teachers’ ability to deliver comprehensive instruction. In addition, the absence of reliable electricity affects daily school operations and prevents the integration of modern learning tools. There is also a challenge of an unsafe learning environment due to damaged doors and windows which poses a threat to students and teachers as well as learning materials left in the classrooms.

Another major challenge highlighted by the school is the lack of laptops and ICT learning resources. In today’s digital world, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education is critical for preparing students for future opportunities. Without laptops and functional ICT equipment, students are unable to gain practical knowledge and skills that are increasingly required in academic and professional environments.
Despite these difficulties, the students remain eager to learn and the teachers continue to show dedication and commitment to nurturing young minds. However, the reality is that the school cannot overcome these challenges alone.
We are therefore making a strong appeal to individuals, organizations, NGOs, philanthropists, and corporate bodies to come to the aid of this school. Support can be provided in various forms, including:
Every contribution whether material, financial, or through skilled manpower will play a crucial role in improving the learning environment and safeguarding the health and well-being of both students and teachers.
